It also reminded me about the fact that sometimes it may feel easier to arrange all your 1-1s in one day to batch things up, but that can be super draining and reduce the quality of the conversations. I found that in my previous company, what worked best was to run retros monthly, 1-1 monthly, and async check-ins daily. If we ever needed a meeting, it was very focused on collaboration that we couldn't do async. That cadence brought a lot of calm and focus to the team. Thanks again for a great post!
